This Wednesday, Port Townsend Urban Sketchers are going wild!
We will meet at the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge entrance shelter at 10am for a brief orientation, sketch until 12:15, then return to the shelter to share and photograph sketches. Options: Walk the paved path, featuring an interesting display of found objects at the refuge, or take the primitive path to a series of scenic overlooks. Both paths feature benches for sitting and end on the beach. A wonderful and accessible walking area with plenty of beautiful places to sketch!
$3 daily entrance fee covers up to 4 adults. Refuge Annual Pass, Federal Recreational Lands Pass, Senior or Golden Age Pass, Access or Golden Access Pass, Military Pass, Volunteer Pass, and a Federal Duck Stamp also admit family or group (up to 4 adults).
Those driving from and near Port Townsend, and want to carpool, please meet by 8:45am at the QFC parking lot in Port Townsend; park near the Mean Bean Espresso stand. We will leave promptly at 9:00am.
